Practical classes and hands-on studio time are supported by a theoretical understanding, giving students thorough knowledge of a broad range of audio production-related issues and career opportunities. Successful completion of the 1st stage of the Audio Engineering course is awarded with the SAE Institute Audio Engineering Diploma and entitles students to continue to the 2nd stage.

2nd stage Audio Engineering (Degree)
The 2nd stage of the Audio Engineering course professionalizes 1st stage (diploma) graduates’ approach and attitude to the industry by surveying the cultural, historical, and creative parameters that shaped the current industry landscape. 2nd stage students will attend lectures and seminars held by active industry professionals to develop a critical and analytical awareness necessary to profess at higher levels. Successful completion of the 2nd stage of the Audio Engineering course is awarded with a Middlesex University Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Audio Production.
