SAE Institute film lecturers Jur Oster en Joris de Jong provided a 3 day training for the dutch TV station RTV Noord.
The station has recently switched to working with Panasonic P2 cameras, and during the training station staff and freelancers were shown the ins and outs of filming and working with P2.
Switching from tape to a non-linear P2 workflow has proven a challenge even for experienced camera men, and everyone came out a lot wiser.
SAE Institute Amsterdam regularly hosts a 2 day workshop on this subject for all interested parties.
The RTV Noord training and the regular workshops in Amsterdam are a cooperation between SAE Institute Amsterdam and Panasonic.
